MARION - Graveside services for Mamie Lane Capps, 92, will be held at 5 p.m. today in Rose Hill Cemetery with Dr. David Bult and the Rev. Marion Starr officiating. Smith-Collins Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Capps, widow of Foster Capps, died Friday, April 2, 1999, at Marion County Medical Center after an illness. Born in Wilkes County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late James and Addie Wilkerson Lane.
Surviving are her sons, Odell W. Capps of Black Mountain, N.C., Lonnie Capps of Marion; brother, Bud Lane of Marion; sisters, Elvie L. Prevatte of Marion, Carrie L. Johnson of Mullins; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
