Son of Newton Foster and Mary Baxley Capps. Foster married (1) ___, and (2) Mamie Rlene Lane.


MARION - N. F. Capps, 65, died unexpectedly at his home in Marion at 12:15 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of God at 3 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Paul Brady. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mamie Lane Capps; a daughter, Mrs. Odessa Lewis of Saint Pauls, N.C.; and three sons, Odell Capps, Lonnie Capps and Billy Capps, all of Marion.

Foster married between the taking of the 1910 and 1920 census. They had one daughter, Odessa Capps, born in 1914, and his wife died before the 1920 census. I've been unable to learn her name.
