OBITUARY
Lynn W. Brown of Galesburg, Il. a former resident of Jerseyville, died at the Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville Tuesday, September 8, 1931.
For the past ten or twelve years Brown has been residing in Galesburg but recently came to Jerseyville to visit his mother, Mrs. Lola Brown. He was returning to Galesburg and stopped in Jacksonville for a few days. Early Tuesday morning Brown was observed by a grocerman in a building near the depot, apparently in misery. The deceased is survived by several children, his mother, Mrs. Lola Brown of this city, and a number of brothers and sisters.
The body was brought to the Gubser Funeral chapel in this city Wednesday afternoon and funeral services will be held from there Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Elder T.J. Roady of Kane officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
