______________
Mrs. Adaline K. Caslow, a highly respected and life-long member of St. Jacob's (Stone) Lutheran Church, was born July 25, 1850, and died of a complication of diseases, on June 15, 1926, aged 75 years, 10 months, and 20 days.
Mrs. Caslow was widely known and a friend to everybody. She and her husband had a home where the spirit of kindness and hospitality were freely dispensed and none knew it better than the two pastors at the Stone Church who spent many hours in this home.
Mr. and Mrs. Caslow had reared a large family and those who are still among us are worthy citizens of our community and members of the church. Mrs. Caslow was a regular attendant at the services of Stone Church, both Lutheran and Reformed, and she will be greatly missed in both church and Sunday School.
The funeral services were held on Friday, June 18, 1926, and were in charge of her pastor, Rev. W. H. Ehrhart, assisted by Rev. Paul D. Yoder. After brief services at the house the funeral cortege proceeded to the Stone Church where a large congregation of friends and relatives had gathered for the services. Rev. Yoder used as his text, John 19:27. Burial was made in the new cemetery.
