RED LION, July 9 - Mary Caslow Manchey, 73, wife of Worthy Jacob Manchey, 172 South Franklin Street, this place, died at 12:25 a.m. today in York Hospital.
Also surviving are two sons, Jacob L. Manchey, 1521 Monroe Street, York, and Robert S. Manchey, 280 South Main Street, Yoe; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Jacob K. Caslow, Church Street, Glen Rock.
Mrs. Manchey was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and the Wide Awake Class of the Sunday School.
The Rev. Dr. O. K. Maurer, her pastor, will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Thursday at the F. B. Olewiler Funeral Home, this place. Interment will be in Yoe Cemetery.

Couple Observes Golden Wedding
Red Lion – Mr. and Mrs. Worthy J. Manchey, 172 South Franklin Street, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday.
About 125 persons visited the Manchey residence and the couple received a number of gifts. Mr. Manchey was admitted to the York Hospital Saturday as a pre-surgical patient.
The Mancheys were married June 23, 1907, in the Jefferson Reformed parsonage by the late Rev. N. W. Sechler. Mr. Manchey, 72, is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Manchey, Marburg, and his wife is the former Mary Caslow, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob T. Caslow, Glen Rock RD 2. She is 68.
Mr. and Mrs. Manchey have two sons, Jacob L. Manchey, 1369 West Market Street, York, and Chief Burgess Robert S. Manchey, Yoe; three granddaughters and two great grandsons.
