The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the home, with the Reverend E.F. Daugherty, pastor of the Jackson St. Christian Church, in charge. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. The body was to be returned to the home Wednesday afternoon from the Meeks Mortuary.
Mrs. Mauzy was a member of the Jackson Street Christian Church and had lived here more than 35 years, coming to Muncie from Rushville.
Surviving are five daughters, Miss Ruth A. Mauzy, society editor of The Muncie Press, Mrs. D.C. Simes, Mrs. Herschel Steck, Mrs. Ralph Dragoo and Mrs. Donald Holmes, all of Muncie; two sons, Paul and Byron Mauzy, of Muncie; two brothers, Jesse and Ithamer White, of Muncie; and four grandchildren, Robert and Barbara Simes, Thomas Steck and Sarah Mauzy.
