JESSIE SOREN

Jessie Soren, 82, Burlington, died at home Monday, September 29, 1980.

She was born Aug 24, 1898 in Sauk Center, MN. Mrs. Soren came to Skagit County with her parents when she was four years old and lived in the area most of her life.

She worked in the food processing industry and was a member of the Cannery Warehousemen and Food Processor Union local # 788.

She is survived by three daughters, Mina Jean Soren of Burlington, Helen Allison of Sedro Woolley, and Dorothy Eckman of Sedro Woolley; two sons, Ray of Sedro Woolley, and Dewey of Ferndale; a friend at the family home, Dewey Brown; one brother, Ralph Wilson of Sedro Woolley; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and three brothers.

Funeral services for Jessie Soren will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 3, 1980 at the Lemley Chapel with Pastor Gus Buma of the Faith Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Sedro Woolley Union Cemetery.
