Mrs. Raymond Snyder, Cass County Native, Succumbs in Peru

PERU—Mrs. Raymond Snyder, 44, of R. 4,
Peru, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday at
Dukes hospital following an illness
of one year.
Born Margaret A. Burkett Sept. 21, 1915
in Cass county, she was the daughter of
Emmett and Bertha (Stephenson) Burkett.
Her marriage on Aug. 14, 1933 was to
Raymond Snyder and he survives.

She was a member of the Mexico Church of
the Brethren. Surviving besides the husband
are her father, Emmett Burkett,of Logansport;
one son, Norman, at home; two daughters,
Mrs.Carolyn White, Mexico and Shirley, at
home; six brothers, Joseph, Donald, David,
Edward,Raymond, Clifford Burkett, all of
Logansport; three sisters, Mrs. Evan Bell
of Camden, Mrs. Harlan Baber, R. 4, Logansport
and Mrs. Elmer Cunningham, of Lafayette and
one grandchild. One son and one daughte
preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday
at the Mexico Church of the Brethren. Burial
will be in the Greenlawn cemetery at Mexico.
Friends may call at the Eikenberry Funeral
Home in Peru after 2 pm Sunday.
