Pauline Baber, 98, of Logansport, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport. She was born November 21, 1919 to the late Emmett and Bertha (Stevenson) Burkett. She married Harland D. Baber on September 21, 1938 in Peru, Indiana. Together they celebrated 74 years of marriage before his passing on January 5, 2013.

Pauline was a farm wife and homemaker. She was a former member of the Ramer Church in Walton and enjoyed crafts, cooking, gardening and her grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Carmen S. (Alan) Sharp, Goodland, IN; Russell A. (Evon) Baber, Twelve Mile, IN; Phyllis A. Cooksey, Logansport, IN; and Rita J. Baber, Huntersville N.C. She is also survived by many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Jean Baber of Walton and Dixie Burkett of Logansport. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harland, six brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter .

Funeral services January 8, 2018 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Bill Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Logansport. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements.
