ARAB -- Funeral for Velma L. Steadham, 78, of Lacey's Spring was to be today at 2 p.m. at Arab-Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Cavender and the Rev. Rudy Southerland officiating.
Burial was to be in Rescue Cemetery at Morgan City.
Mrs. Steadham died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at her home. She was born Jan. 25, 1923, in Winston County to Robert Lee Lacy and Nancy Gray Lacy. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Billy Joe Crow of Union Grove; two daughters, Dorothy Bogart and Doris Faye Andrews, both of Lacey's Spring; two brothers, Junior Lacy of Neel and Otho Lacy of Hartselle; two sisters, Roberta White and Kathleen Phillips, both of Decatur; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
