Funeral services for Jessie Lee Lacy, 81, of Decatur Route One were conducted at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Claborn officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Lacy died Friday, March 10, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and a Baptist. He was a veteran of World War II and a dairy farmer.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene Lacy of Trinity and Joe Lacy of Decatur; four daughters, Willodean Steelman of Athens, Mavine Crane, Barbara Turrentine and Nancy McAbee, all of Neel; two brothers, Junior Lacy of Neel and Otho Lacy of Hartselle; three sisters, Katherine Haff and Roberta White, both of Decatur, and Velma Steadman of Morgan City; 21 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
