Udall was born to Ammon Meshach Tenney, Sr. and Hettie Millicent Adams.

He married Ida Mae Rollins April 26, 1923 in Lordsburg, Hidalgo, New Mexico.

Udall and Ida did not have children together.

OBIT: Prescott Courier, 8 Feb 1965:

Came to Arizona in 1910, settling in Pima.

His younger years were spent on a cattle ranch.

At age 15, he went to work for the El Paso & Southwestern Railroad and then to the Pacific Electric Railroad in Los Angeles. Later he worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad.

The last 28 years of his career, he was employed with the Santa Fe Railroad. Lived in Prescott for 10 years.

Survivors included his wife, 1 sister, Millicent McKellar of Tempe, 3 brothers, H.P. of Boise, Idaho and A.D. & M.A. both of Chino, California.
