Survivors: wife,Mabel; daughters Mrs. Ross (Betty) Hill of Augusta ,Ga.and Mrs. Charles (Rachel) Pilcher of McCook; brother Berwin Shaffer ,Pickrell; sister Mrs. Alan (June) Poage,Huntsville,Texas;seven grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son,a daughter ,one sister and two brothers.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday,church of Brethern, Holmesville. Pastor Ernest Jehnsen. Burial church cemetery Holmesville. Body in state one hour preceding service at church. Memorial to church with Marion Frantz and Mrs. Lynn McKinzie in charge. Harman mortuary.
