Mrs. Cora Elizabeth Morton,69, of 2500 Lincoln died today April 27 in a Beatrice hospital. Born May 31,1903 at Odell, she was a lifetime resident of Gage county. She was a member of the First Christian church.
Surviovers include a sister, Mrs. Alan (June) Poage of Huntsville Texas: 2 brothers, Roy Shaffer and Berwin Shaffer both of Beatrice. She was preceeded ,in death, by her husband in 1969 and three brothers.
A private family service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian church with the Reverend James Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Home cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the Eugene Eppley Cancer research fund with Harmon Mortuary in charge.
