Eleventh child and 6th daughter of Mary Melissa Parker and Joseph William Summerhays.

Lillian married John Theodore Carlson 18 February 1921 at Salt Lake City, SL, Utah. Her death, within 10 months, denoted a possibility that she may have died in childbirth. Records are so sketchy, but it has now been documented that she had a son, named John Summerhays Carlson, 5 days prior to her death. (He was raised by his father's second wife.)

John T. Carlson then married Daisy Genevevieve Erickson 24 November that very year. They had three known children; the first they named Lillian E., who only lived a year and a half, a son, Roland, and their second daughter, Marilyn, lived almost 70 years. She married Scott Crawford Sorenson and buried in Saint George, Washington, Utah.

John was returned to be buried by Lillian Summerhays and his and Daisy's infant daughter, Lillian E.; however, Daisy Genevieve Erickson Carlson was buried in Fruita, Colorado.
