"Our Destiny"
Written by Vera Anderson Carr, daughter-in-law
Tell us when my destiny will reach
Its summit and make me free.
How many days to love and live.
How much time to share and live.
My love shall reach into the morrow,
To quench the sting of my family sorrow.
Touch their hearts and soothe their minds
As someday soon together we will find
God has prepared a home in heaven,
With divine unity to us it gives.
He promised that if it were not so,
He most surely would let us know.
Though these plans w carefully nurture
As the destiny our eternal future.
