Mary Elizabeth was the daughter of Zeddock & Margaret Jane (Woodford) Calhoon. She had 6 brothers, Thomas, Eaven David, Sampson, John, William & George & 1 sister, Harriet Augusta.
She married Andrew Shutz Carr June 24, 1880 at Rulo, Nebraska. They had 13 children, Fred, Harry, Claud, Clyde, Maud, Netty, Effie, Ida, George, Echo, Hazel, Charley & Ernest.
She divorced Andrew Carr in 1903 & married James L. Roberts in October 1906.
