She grew to womanhood in this community where she has spent most of her life, except fa few years when she resided in South Dakota with her family.
On June 30, 1907, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Osborn. To this union six children were born, Gladys (Mrs. William McCloughan) preceded her in death in January 1932.
She was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist Church June 28, 1947. She was a kind and loving mother, a friend to everyone who knew her. She bore her illness with courage and very little complaint.
Surviving are her five children: Donald and LaVern Osborn, and Mrs. Zella Goslin, all of Omaha, Nebraska; Delmar, Hay Springs, Nebraska; and Mrs. Thora Manlove, San Francisco, California; nineteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves seven brothers and four sisters; Fred and Clyde Carr, Mrs. Maude Williams, Mrs. Effie Foreman, Mrs. Ida Johnson and Mrs. Hazel Heese of Springview, Nebraska; Claude Carr of Cornelius, Oregon; Harry Carr f Bassett, Nebraska; George and Ernest Carr of Casper, Wyoming, and Charley Carr of Spencer, Nebraska. She was preceded in death also by her father in March 1937, her mother in January 1954, and one sister, Mrs. Echo Moles passed away in November 1934.
