Lillian Oshel McClure, 97, formerly of 315 S. Chestnut, died this morning, Feb. 13, at Allen County Hospital. For the past four years she had resided at Countryside Estate. She was born Feb. 10, 1883, near Piqua. On July 3, 1906, she married Quincy D. McClure in Mound City and they made their home in Mildred until moving to Iola in 1920. Mr. McClure died in 1939. Mrs. McClure was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Kitterman of Denver and Mrs. Sylva Boyd, Gas; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Three sons, Delphin, Don, and Leslie, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home with the Rev. John Morris officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
