She was a native of Tennessee and the daughter of the late Mack and Lucinda Bussell Worley, and the widow of the late A.W. Maxwell.
She is survived by six sons, Tom, Lillard and Ernest Maxwell of Cookeville, Hooper Maxwell of Fairfield Glade, Tenn., Lloyd Maxwell of Detroit, Mich., Claiborne Maxwell of Sparta; six daughters, Mrs. Odell Grinder of Hazel Park, Mich., Mrs. Myrtle Fliss of Rochester, Mich., Mrs. Maude Purvis of Hollywood, Fla., Mrs. Effie Lou Ray of Miami, Mrs. Ella Mae Burgess and Mrs. Mable Buskirk of Cookeville; 30 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
