MICHIGAN Funeral services for Nola Odell Maxwell Grider, 73, of Hazel Park, MI will be held Saturday October 14 at noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Grider died Monday (October 9, 1989) in Michigan.
Born December 21, 1915 in Baxter, she was the daughter of the late A. W. (Big Alf) Maxwell and America Avo Worley Maxwell.
Her family includes 1 son, Robert Miller Grider of Fraser, MI; 1 daughter, Barbara Stinson of Romulus, MI; 4 sisters, Maude Joan Purvis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Effie Lou Ray of Vero Beach, FL; and Ella Mae Burgess and Mable Ann Buskirk, both of Cookeville; 5 brothers, Lloyd and Lillard L. Maxwell, both of Cookeville, Claiborne W. and Tommy Ray Maxwell both of Sparta, and Hooper D. Maxwell of Fairfield Glade; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Grider was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ernest and J. T. Maxwell and by 2 sisters, Girtharie Knapp and Myrtle Fliss Young.
