Contributed by Ozarkcheryl - West Liberty--Mrs. George Adams, 75, was found dead in bed at 8 a.m. today at her home on East Third street. She had been awake at 5 o'clock and talked with her husband and at that time apparently was in her usual health. Death was due to a heart attack. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mrs. Adams was born Helena Jennings, the daughter of James and Almira Jennings, on a farm near Wilton Sept. 5, 1857. She lived on this farm for 72 years, coming to West Liberty with her husband three years ago.
She is survived by her husband, three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. E.A. Carney and Mrs. Charles Piper of Springdale and Mrs. Vernon Walton of Wilton; Arthur Jennings of Tipton and Frank Jennings of West Liberty. She was a member of the Christian church.
