Ada Belle Smalley, daughter of Edward and Pearl Gillan, was born June 4, 1911 near Cordova, Nebraska and passed away May 27, 1972 at the Good Samaritan Home in Nelson, Nebraska at the age of 60 years, 11 months and 22 days.
She was united in marriage to Cecil G. Smalley on July 21, 1931. To this union one son, Donald Eugene, was born.
Those left to mourn are her son, Don and wife, Devee; two granddaughters, Debra and Deon; one grandson, Cecil of Superior, Nebraska; four sisters, Hazel Wedener of Bremerton, Washginton, Mrs. Harry (Ruby) Snyder of Oak, Nebraska, Mrs. Gerald (Darlene) Fraka of Pico Rivera, California, Mrs. Harold (Betty) Struss of Juniata, Nebraska; two brothers, Claude of Fort Collins, Colorado and Jack of Oak, Nebraska; other relatives and many friends.
Her husband, parents, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
Ada Belle was a resident of the Good Samaritan Home in Nelson, Nebraska the last 9 years due to her failing health.
Memorial services were held on Monday, May 29, 1972 at 9:00 a.m. at the Megrue-Price Funeral Chapel, Superior, Nebraksa. Reverend Jerry Densmore officiated.
She gave her body for medical research.
