Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 25, at the Reager Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ron Christian officiated, and burial was in the Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Gillan was born August 3, 1907, at Cordova, Nebraska. He married Viola Pearson on June 25, 1944, in Fort Collins. She survives.
He worked as a custodian at Colorado State University for many years. He moved to Fort Collins Moose Lodge No. 275.
Other survivors include a son, Scott Edward Gillan of Fort Collins; a daughter, Virginia Gillan of Long Beach, California; three sisters, Ruby Snyder of Oak, Nebraska, Darlene Fraka of Dico Rivera, California and Betty Struss of Juniata, Nebraska; and a grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of the Reager Funeral Home and Crematory.
