Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie McDonald, 77 years old, wife of John R. McDonald, 1120 North Court street, who died Monday evening at 10:45 o'clock at her home, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Presbyterian church, the Rev. William H. Fulton officiating. Burial will be in the Scottish cemetery at Argyle.
She was born in Argyleshire, Scotland, May 9, 1848, and came to America with her parents when five years old, the family locating in Guilford township. She was married Nov. 20, 1871, and has resided in Rockford for four years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, David B. McDonald and Mrs. Matthew J. Andrew of Caledonia; Mrs. Robert M. Greenlee of Argyle; Mrs. Geprge M. Picken of Rockford and John C. of Beloit. There are also 14 grandchildren.
