MRS. M.J. ANDREW DIES AFTER TWO-YEAR ILLNESS
Belvidere, Ill., June 27. - Last rites for Mrs. M. J. Andrew, 70, who died after a two-year illness Sunday evening in her home at Caledonia, will be held at 2 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday in the Atkins-Johnson funeral home. Interment will be in Willow Creek cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
The former Mary McDonald, Mrs. Andrew was born April 6, 1879, daughter of John R. and Jessie McDonald, at the family home on West Lane road, now route 173, between Rockford and Caledonia. She attended rural schools and Brown business college in Rockford.
She was married to M. J. Andrew on June 2, 1904, and they had made their home in Caledonia ever since. She was a member of Willow Creek Presbyterian church.
Besides her husband survivors are one son, John C., Springfield, O.; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude E. Ralston, Spring Brook road, Rockford and Mrs. Marjorie J, Wold, Caledonia; two sisters, Mrs. R. M. Greenlee, route 173, Rockford, and Mrs. Jessie Picken, Rockford; one brother, J. C. McDonald, Beloit, Wis., and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
