Marjorie Andrew Wold, 96, of Belvidere, IL passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in her home, after a long illness. Marjorie was born on the family farm in Caledonia, IL on September 21, 1918, daughter of Matthew J. and Mary B. Andrew. She attended Caledonia school for 11 years and graduated from Rockford High School in 1936. Marjorie attended Hamilton School of Business where she graduated. She worked at Woodward Governor and in her later years was a bookkeeper at several local grain elevators. Marjorie loved all sports and partook in many, especially golf, which was her love. Marjorie married Milo B. Wold on November 30, 1946. They operated her family farm until he passed away January 19, 1983. She was a lifelong member of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church where she was very active with the youth group, choir, and also served as a Deacon and Elder. Marjorie also served as a volunteer for many years at Boone County Historical Society. She especially enjoyed giving school tours at the museum.

She is survived by Susan Palmer, Marcia (Jim) Rattay and family, Robert (Mary) Wall and family, Barbara A. Newkirk, Shirley Lennortson and Dayton Eden. All of the above lovingly call her "Auntie Marge."

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John; and sister, Gertrude.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 West Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008, with The Rev. Judith March Hardie and Deacon Denise Cooper co-officiating.

Burial will take place in Scottish-Argyle Cemetery in Caledonia, IL.
