Mrs. Margaret Breckenridge of Guilford passed away Wednesday evening at the age of 91 years. She was a native of Scotland and was born in South End, Scotland in 1805. In 1830, she was married to Edward Breckenridge. They came to America in 1854 and made their home in Guilford, living there ever since. Mr. Breckenridge passed away in 1865.
Mrs. Breckenridge fell last August and suffered a fracture of the hip, from the effects of which she died. She is survived by eight children, Hugh, Edward, and Isabella Breckenridge, Mrs. John McDonald, Mrs. William Reid and Mrs Gavin Ralston. There are 51 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, who also survive.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the home of her son, Robert Breckenridge, in Guilford.
