Funeral Services For Miss Bess Luper
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from Saulters Funeral Home Chapel for Bess Luper, 65, who died unexpectedly Wednesday night at Columbia where she had resided for the past five months. Rev. J. H. Cameron officiated and interment followed in the Brady Cemetery with Saulters Funeral Home in charge.
Pall bearers were Harlos Everitt, B. E. Livingston, T. Rush, Carroll Williams, and N. W. Buckley.
Miss Luper was a native of Prentiss, the daughter of the late Albert and Isabella Applewhite Luper. She was a retired teacher and a member of the Prentiss Methodist Church.
Survivors include one brother, C. A. Luper of Prentiss and several nieces and nephews.
