MRS. KATIE FOWLER SMITH, aged twenty-seven years, wife of Herman Smith, died at her home near town this morning at 8:45 o'clock, following a lingering illness of a complication of diseases. She leaves, besides her husband, and one small child, her father, Mr. Joe Fowler, and four brothers and two sisters to grieve her death. Funeral services will be held at St. Rose Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will follow in the cemetery at that place.
