Died at St Joseph Infirmary in Louisville, Jefferson Co, KY after a posioning of unknown origin. He had been hospitalized for 9 days. The body was prepared by Hale & Edlin Mortuary in Louisville and was viewed in the family home in Fredricktown, KY. He was a widely known tobacco farmer.

Survivors inclded his wife, Lottie, Phillips Fowler; three daughters - Pauline Fowler Brown of Louisville, KY; Dorothy and Florence Fowler; three sons - Edgar and Herman of Fredricktown and Robert of Louisville, KY. Two sisters: Maud Fowler Mudd of Louisville and Mary Elizabeth(Deva) Fowler of Springfield, KY.Funeral was held at Holy Trinty Church in Fredricktown, Washington, KY with services by Rev.Jerome Lammers.

Paul Fowler, age 57, Fredericktown, died Sunday at St. Joseph Infirmary, in Louisville, after an illness of poison oak. He had been under treatment there for 9 days. He is survived by his widow, 3 daughters and 4 sons. Funeral and burial at Fredericktown
