She was a member of Oakland Mills United Methodist Church, born to the late Matthew and Nancy Mitchell Jolly of Fleming County.
Survivors include three sons, Tilton, Walter and Ollie Mitchell, all of Carlisle.
Eight Daughters, Minnie Frederick, Elsie Crawford, Osie Tucker, Sarah Farner, Wanda Watkins, Anna Sapp and Helen McVey, all of Carlisle, Janice Lemons, Harrison County; one adopted daughter, Viola Bowen, Carlisle;
Three brothers, Estill, Elmer and Herman Jolly, all of Carlisle; one sister, Julie Hillard, Lexington; 56 grandchildren, 91 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a Daughter, Nora Bromagen.
Services were Friday, May 17, 1991 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Revs. Gaylord Gillespie and Jerry Watkins. Burial was in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Casketbearers were Lesley, Binkie and Lonnie Mitchell, Roy and Billy Gray, Everett Sapp, Douglas Cooper, Herman and Herbert Jolly, and Mark Hunt.
