Tilton Richard "Buddy" Mitchell, 75, of 200 Watkins Lane, died on February 13, 2001 after a short illness.

He was a retired General Motors metal worker and farmer.

Born on September 13, 1925 to the late Robert Tony Mitchell and Odie Gladys Jolly Mitchell in Fleming County.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Mitchell, Carlisle, and Phil and Dana Mitchell, Mt. Olivet; four daughters, Ronnie and Diane Morris, Eldorado, Arkansas, Dean and Sue Pratt, Mt. Olivet, Mark and Becky Fowler, Broken Arrow, OK, Mel and Lynn Askins, Morrilton, Arkansas; 20 grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Mitchell, Ollie Mitchell, Carlisle; seven sisters, Janice Lemons, Cynthiana, Helen McVey, Ellisville, Wanda Mitchell, Carlisle, Anna Pearl Sapp, Carlisle, Osie Tucker, Ellisville, Elsie Crawford, Carlisle, Sara Mitchell, Carlisle.

He was preceded in death by one son, Timmy Mitchell and two sisters, Nora Bromagen and Minnie Fredrick.

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 16, 2001 at the Clark Funeral Home in Moorefield Kentucky with the Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating.
