Nicholas man dies in one-car crash
A 76-year-old Nicholas County man died Saturday after a one-car crash there, according to the Fayette County coroner's office.
Ollie Mitchell was pronounced dead at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center at 9:45 p.m., the coroner's office said.
The wreck occurred just after 11 a.m. Mitchell's vehicle ran off Cassidy Creek Road and struck a culvert.
Mitchell died of blunt-force trauma, but no autopsy was conducted, according to a coroner's office report.
Clark Funeral Home in Moorefield is handling arrangements.
