Obituary:
Matthew Jolly, 72, native of Fleming county, died Wednesday afternoon, August 27, at a Lexington hospital where he had been ill for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Jolly; three daughters, Mrs. Ed Cooper and Mrs. Tony Mitchell of Myers, Mrs. Sanford Lee, of Lexington; and six sons, George, Estill, Elmer, Herman, Arlie Jolly all of Nicholas county, and Elzie Jolly of Mt. Sterling.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, August 30, at 11 o'clock at the Myers Christian church, conducted by Rev. William Hammonds. Burial was in the Mexico cemetery.
