The portrait photo is of Iner when he was a young boy with his mother Helga.

He arrived in the US at age 4 in Oct. 1907 with his mother and sister Carin (Marie). They landed in Boston having been on a ship named the Republic.

The passage record listed their last name as being Zettervall. It showed his first name with the spelling of Einar.

Iner died from accidental drowning at Ft. Snelling Army Base, Hennepin County, Minnesota at age 18, while serving his country.
