Alma was known in certain circles of the family as the "kissing bandit." She was always kissing someone, mostly whoever was closest. Perhaps this explains her three marriages.
Alma first married Arthur Charles Clary and to this union was born a son Charles Herman Clary in 1920. There son Charles was know by the nickname "Boots" in the Beyer family.
Alma then married Lowry Bartlett Pearce, the son of Henry Albert Pearce and Lydia Alice (Burger) Pearce. Lowry Pearce died in 1958. Alma then married Clarence Hayden Dean, the son of William Oscar Dean and Anna Josephine (Wood) Dean.
Alma passed away on June 18, 1987 in Staunton, Illinois and was buried with her sister Dorothy Martha (Beyer) Ray in Memorial Park Cemetery.
