Miss Nellie Model Comer, 95, of Shenandoah, died at Rockingham Memorial Hospital on Friday, Sept 19, 2003.
She was born in Shenandoah on April 19, 1908 and was a daughter of the late John H & Rebecca Baugher Comer.
She is survived by one brother, Floyd D Comer of Shenandoah; five sisters, Sylvia Cave of Elkton, Ruth C Kite, Gladys V Ferrell, Hattie Fadley and Vista Manuel and her husband, Arthur, all of Shenandoah; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Regena Whetzel.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kemper, Burtis and Melvin Comer; one ister, Thelma Comer Herring; two half-sisters and eight half brothers.
Miss Comer will be moved to the Mount Lebanon Congregational Church this afternoon.
Burial in the Mount Lebanon church cemetery.
