Floyd Dennis Comer,98, of Shenandoah, died at his home on Nov 6,2004. He wa born in Shenandoah on Sept 17, 1906 and was the son of the late John and Rebecca Baugher Comer. On June 17, 1927 he married Ruth Comer, who preceded him in dath Oct 24, 1998.
He is survived by a son, Roy Comer of Frederick, Md. a daughter, Phyliss Price of Shenandoah, who was his caretaker for the past six years; four sisters, Ruth Kite, Gladys Ferrell, Vista Manuel, all of Shenandoah, Sylvia Cave of Elkton; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchldren; two step great-grandchildren and one step great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in dath by two sons, Floyd D Comer, Jr and Melvin Ray Comer.
Burial in the Mount Lebanon Church Cemetery
