Jack Ray WilsonOn September 5, 2009, God called home one of his most beloved and faithful sons, Jack Ray Wilson. Jack was born on July 13, 1935 on a farm near Bristow, Oklahoma. He graduated from High School in Olive, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Wilson and Ida Wilson. Jack worked for Saber Drilling as a foreman in the 1960's and thereafter went to work for Kerr-McGee Refining, first in cushing (1967-1972), then in Oklahoma City (1972-1999). He remains a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. He worked, voluntarily, on the County Election Board after his retirement and served at the Church upon request. Jack's first wife, Patty Raedean Wilson, preceded him in death, after 37 years of marriage, in 1996. With God's grace and helpful hand, Jack found a second wife, whom he married on April 17, 1999, Nada Goodman. Nada survives him, as well as his cat of 18 years, O.J. He is also survived by his Son and Daughter-in-Law, Brent and Julie Wilson; and his Daughter and Son-in-Law, Debbie and Stephen Crabb. He also has three remaining sisters of nine children: Hazel Holeman, Polly Dobbs and Lola Murphy. Lola's husband, Leland, was like a Brother to him. His Grandchildren were a blessing to him and brought a smile to his face each and every time he saw or thought of them: Jacob, Nicole and Ryan Ray. Ryan Ray was named in honor of his Grandfather and Grandmother. He also has a Great-Granddaughter that he was very proud of, Cali. Jack was also blessed with Step-Children: Kim and Robert Hey, Debbie and Willie Thomas and Ranae Compton. There are other numerous family members and friends that Jack adored. Jack was the most honorable person that his family knows, and his family is very proud to be associated with such a Great, Wonderful Person. Jack may be visited at Demuth Funeral Home, 1145 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Services will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church at 1401 Northwest 25th, Oklahoma City, at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 10, 2009, with a burial service to follow in Bristow at the Magnolia Memorial Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
