She left a testimony behind that she was going home to dwell with Jesus with her request to her Husband, Brother, Sisters, Mother and Father, to meet her in glory. The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. F. Jarvis Minister of the Baptist Church.

The story my grandfather Burton Johnson told us was that Jennie died from appendicitis, and the baby John Burton Johnson was born down syndrome and passed away a few months after his Mother.
