Jennie Naomi Johnson Moore was the thrid of 9 children born to Burton Elmer 7 Ruby Loretta Cherry Johnson born December 16-1922 in Guthrie Logan County Oklahoma. Jennie Met & Married Claude Doyle Moore on June 27-1947 in Fairfax California ..The Moore's built & Pastored Several Churches including Hughes Lane & in 1954 Bertel Street when.,Claude and Jennie along with several people came together building the Church and house that sit on the left of the church building where the family lived. Many a Sunday after church Fellowship dinners were held there then on to the evening service. It was known that the Singing, Shouting, Preaching & Praying would be heard up and down that street coming from that little white Church on Bertel Street. In 1975 The Moore's sold everything including the church, its contents, packed up and headed to Texas opening Churches, pastoring until their death in 2005.. They served in the ministry for aprox. 58yrs.
One could not live without the other and both passed 3 days apart. Their funeral was held for both at the same time. Jennie passed away from Cancer. She was 73.
