W. E. Entrop, 79, Dies; Rites Sat.

William E. Entrop, 79, of Westphalia died in a Temple hospital Thursday night.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Visitation in Westphalia, with Rev. Gideon Starm officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Westphalia.

Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Hoelscher Funeral Home in Rosebud.

Mr. Entrop was a native of Tours and lived in Westphalia since 1904. He was a member of the Church of Visitation and St. Michael’s Society. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife; five sons, Ervin Entrop of Imperial Beach, Calif., Clarence Entrop and Gene Entrop of Temple, Leon Entrop of Westphalia, Elmer Entrop of Austin; five daughters, Mrs. Charlie Curtis of Houston, Mrs. Adolph Kistia of Fort Worth, Mrs. Bob Garvey of Austin, Mrs. Carolyn Gottschalk of Dallas, Mrs. Arlene Doskocil of Bryan; three brothers, Anton Entrop, Albert Entrop, and Joseph Entrop, all of Westphalia; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Raade of Athens, and Mrs. Clara Jares of West; 35 grandchildren.
