Mrs. Jares of West Dies

Mrs. Louis (Clara) Jares, 65, of West died Friday morning at her residence.

Rosary was recited 7 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. William Benish as celebrant.

Mrs. Jares was born in Westphalia and lived in the West area 50 years.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Jares of Iowa Park; two daughters, Mrs. Jimmy (Louise) Snokhous of West and Mrs. John (Estelle) Aycock of Waco; two brothers, Albert Entrop and Tony Entrop, both of Lott; a sister, Mrs. Mary Raabe of Athens; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Larry Jares, Melvin Jares, Don Jares, Clement Deiterman, Adolph Havel and Henry Snokhous.

She was preceded by the death of her husband, Louis, on Sept. 19, 1970.
