Henry Entrop, Sr. was the son William and Katie Deiterman Entrop. He married Mary Ann Giere 23 Jul 1912 in Wichita County, Texas. Henry and Mary Entrop had eleven children, six surviving to adulthood. He was a farmer in his early years, and worked in the oil industry in the latter part of his life. At the time of his death, he was living with his daughter, Christene, and her husband, Charlie Roberts, in Holliday, Texas. He was survived by his wife, Mary; six children, Edward, Alfred, Christene Roberts, Carolyn Jarvis, Gertrude Stehlik, Henry Entrop, Jr.; and numerous grandchildren.
