Clarence Alvin Entrop , 88, of Temple died Saturday, May 14, in Temple. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St Mary Catholic Church in Temple with the Rev. Steven Sauser officiating. Burial will be in St . Mary's Cemetery in Westphalia. Mr. Entrop was born Sept 16, 1927 , to William and Elizabeth Holelscher Entrop in Westphalia. He graduated from Lott High School and attended Waco Business School. He served in the U S NAVY. On Oct 30, 1951, he married Leonette Kasberg. He Moved to Temple in 1951 and worked in administration at the V.A. Hospital. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus No. 3444. He was preceded in death by his wife on Nov . 21, 2014, and two sons, Kenneth Entrop and Daryl Entrop.
Survivors include a son, Donald Entrop of Morgan's Point; a daughter, Beverly Teague of Morgan's Point Resort; a brother, Elmer Entrop; five sister Aletha Curtis, Valira Kostiha, Erna Mae Garvey, Carolyn Gottschalk and Arlene Doskocil; sic grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Scanio- Harper Funeral Home in Temple ;a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
