Gunnison - Ruby Jessen Childs, 78, died Oct. 6 in a Gunnison Hospital of natural causes.
Born Sept. 18, 1895, Manit, To Ebbe and Emma Hansen Jessen. Married Parley L. Childs March 26, 1919, Manti; he died 1970. Member LDS church.
Survivors: son, daughters, Lee Roy, Gunnison; Mrs. Roldo (Donna) Nielson, Burbank, Calif.; Mrs. Elwood (Lois) Mickelsen, Kenniwick, Wash.; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchidlren; brother, sisters, Edward, Hunter; Mrs. Hazel Barton, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ludine Price, Seattle.
Funeral Wednesday 1 p.m., Gunnison 1st LDS Ward chapel. Friends call Warren R. Jensen Funeral Home, Gunnison, Tuesday 7-9 p.m., hour prior to services. Burial Gunnison Cemetery.
