Former Manti resident buried at Salina

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 16 at 2 p.m. in the Salina Second Ward for Armanella Jessen Anderson, 70, former resident of Manti. Mrs. Anderson passed away on Wednesday, October 13 at the home of a daughter in Richfield of natural causes.

She was born January 10, 1892 in Manti, a daughter of Ebbe and Nora Hansen Jessen. She married Carl N. Anderson on Dec. 21, 1910 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died May 5, 1959.

She was a member of the LDS Church, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and Salina American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Mozella Peterson, Richfield; Mrs. Keith (Carol) Anderson, Gunnison; Valden C., Salina; Bryce C., Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Eddy, Elroy, Mrs. Alden (Hazel) Barton, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Roy (Ruby) Childs, Gunnison.

Burial was in the Eastside Cemetery in Salina.
