Services Friday For ElNorah H. Jessen
Funeral services for ElNorah H. Jessen, 85, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Manti Center Ward, with Bishop's Counselor Elliott Braithwaite conducting. Mrs. Jessen dies Tuesday morning in Salt Lake City of causes incident to age.

She was born June 9, 1872, in Norway, a daughter of H. G. and Hilda Strand Hansen. She was married to Ebbe Jessen in June, 1891, at Manti. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Jessen died February 19, 1932.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving for 38 years as a Relief Society teacher. She was a member of the Manti Center Ward while living in Manti.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons: Mrs. Alden K. (Hazel) Barton of Salt Lake City, Mrs. I. M. (Ludean) Price of San Francisco, Mrs. Roy (Ruby) Childs of Gunnison, Mrs. Carl N. (Armanella) Anderson of Salina, Ed Jessen of Mt. Pleasant and Elroy Jessen of Manti. Also by 18 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Manti City Cemetery under the direction of the Buchanan Mortuary.

Friends may call at the Alden Barton home Thursday evening and Friday until funeral services.
