Rudolph John Thoennes, 62, of 11 South Twenty-Seventh street, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth hospital. He had been ill five days.

Born in Lafayette, he spent most of his life here and was a plumber and steamfitter. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church.

Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. George Fischer, Mrs. Frank Carr, Mrs. Claude Miller, Mrs. Helen Morris and three brothers, Charles, Albert, and Robert, all of Lafayette.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
THOENNES, Rudolph John -- Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Murphy funeral home. Services at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Boniface Catholic church with Rev. Fr. Flavian Maltaner officiating. Burial in St. Boniface cemetery.
